All your calendars, one view

The dashboard calendar pulls together every event from every connected account — Google Calendar, Outlook, CalDAV, Nextcloud — and displays them in a single grid. Bookings you receive through Tymeslot appear alongside your existing events, so you always see the full picture.

🗓️ Views and navigation

Switch between three layouts depending on how much detail you need.

Day

Hour-by-hour breakdown of a single day. Best for a packed schedule where individual slots matter.

Week

The default view. Seven columns of time slots — gives a clear picture of how the week is shaping up.

Month

High-level overview of the full month. Each day shows a condensed list of events. Optional ISO week numbers in the left margin.

Navigate with the arrows in the toolbar to move forward or back. Click Today to return to the current date.

✏️ Working with events

  • View details — click any event to open a panel showing title, time, duration, location, description, and attendees
  • Drag to reschedule — drag an event to a new time slot to move it; the change is written back to the originating calendar immediately
  • Resize duration — drag the bottom edge of an event to lengthen or shorten it
  • Create events — click an empty slot to create a new event directly on the selected calendar
  • Delete events — open an event and use the delete action; a confirmation prompt prevents accidental removal

Tymeslot bookings

Bookings received through your Tymeslot booking pages appear as read-only events. Reschedule or cancel them through the booking management interface, not the calendar grid.

👁️ Calendar visibility

Each connected calendar integration appears as a colour-coded source. You can hide individual calendars without disconnecting them — useful when one account is noisy but you still need it for availability checks.

  • Open the calendar settings (gear icon in the toolbar) to see the list of connected accounts
  • Toggle any calendar on or off — the preference is saved to your account and persists across sessions
  • Hidden calendars remain active for availability checks; they just do not appear in the grid

⚙️ Calendar preferences

Open the settings modal (gear icon) to adjust how the calendar behaves for your account.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why are some events read-only?
Events created by Tymeslot when a booking is confirmed are managed through the booking lifecycle — reschedule and cancellation flows keep the booking and calendar event in sync. Editing the calendar event directly would break that link, so it is locked in the grid.
Does hiding a calendar affect availability?
No. Visibility is purely cosmetic. A hidden calendar is still checked for conflicts when someone books a slot. To stop checking a calendar for availability, disconnect it from Dashboard → Integrations.
Why don't I see events from a calendar I just connected?
New integrations trigger an initial sync when connected. This usually completes within a few seconds, but large calendars with years of history may take a minute. Refresh the page if events haven't appeared after a short wait.
Can I create events on any connected calendar?
Yes — when creating a new event from the grid, a calendar picker lets you choose which connected account it should be written to.
