Your photo shoot scheduler for every session type — turn enquiries into confirmed bookings with separate pages for consultations, portraits, and headshots, and a video link generated automatically for every planning call.

A potential client visits your portfolio, loves your work, and sends an enquiry. Then comes the email chain: availability, location, pricing, a quote, a follow-up, a confirmation. By the time you've exchanged eight emails, they've booked someone else. And even when you do land the booking, managing shoot prep, session reminders, and post-shoot follow-ups manually takes hours each week. Tymeslot shortens the path from enquiry to confirmation, keeps every booking organised in one place, and handles the reminder and follow-up emails so you can stay behind the lens.
Holding a Saturday in October against three other enquiries comes down to one thing: who puts a deposit down first. Most photographers take a 50% non-refundable deposit at booking with the balance due before or on the shoot day, but the cheap schedulers either don't take payment at all or charge enough per month that the maths only works for a studio doing 30+ shoots a week. Calendly, Acuity, and HoneyBook are aimed at high-volume sales calls or full CRM workflows, so a freelance photographer ends up invoicing by hand, sending PayPal links, and hoping the date holds.
The gap is expensive. A peak-season Saturday wedding slot or a corporate headshot day represents anywhere from €600 to €4,000 of revenue, and losing one to an undeposited tentative is a full week's earnings gone. Equipment hold fees for specialist gear (large-format, underwater housings, lighting kits) compound the problem when a shoot evaporates 48 hours out. Tymeslot collects a configurable deposit through Stripe the instant a slot is picked, holds the balance request for the post-shoot delivery email, and refuses to confirm peak-season dates until the card has cleared — so the calendar reflects committed work, not optimistic enquiries.
Scheduling features shaped around how your practice works.
Initial consultation calls get a Google Meet or Mirotalk link generated automatically — no manual setup, no link-hunting before the call.
Create distinct event types for portrait sessions, corporate headshots, pre-shoot planning calls, and newborn shoots — each with its own duration, buffer, and booking page.
Add buffer time after shoots for equipment packing, travel, and memory card management. The next booking only opens once that buffer has cleared.
Prevent last-minute bookings for shoots that require location scouting or extensive preparation. Set a minimum advance notice of days or weeks per shoot type.
Add a booking widget to your photography portfolio as an inline calendar, popup, or floating button — or share a direct booking link in your bio and email signature.
Collect a configurable shoot deposit — typically 50% of the session fee — through Stripe the moment a client picks a slot. Peak-season dates are only confirmed once the card clears, and the balance request goes out automatically before delivery.

How other Photographers use Tymeslot every day.
The longer the gap between interest and confirmation, the more likely a client is to book someone else. A booking page that captures the essential details upfront replaces the early email chain entirely.
Corporate clients often need to book multiple people across a single day or across multiple dates. A dedicated headshot event type with tight back-to-back scheduling handles this without manual coordination.
A client who arrives without the right outfits, location access, or mental preparation costs you time and reshoot effort. Automatic reminders with a pre-shoot brief solve this reliably.
